This looks like a pretty neat way to spend a Saturday (8/15).
There's a new shopping building opening in the SF J-Town area. The Grand opening event looks pretty cool, with stuff going on all day including:
- Yoshitaka Amano Panel discussion and autograph signing.
- Red carpet premier of the film, 20th Century Boys
- Live painting shows
- Gothic lolita fashion show
- Live j-rock girl band performances.
stuff like that.
I'm gonna try to be there myself. Is anyone else thinking about checking it out? |

| hmm... this sounds like fun. I might head back to SF again. Strange that they would hold 2 different outdoor festivals on consecutive weekends. Lemme see what the great WenM is up to as well. Maybe it'll be a BAAU minimeet? Are you guys planning on being there from the start? |

We'll probably be there for the opening ceremony thing at 11am, but not sure how long we'll end up staying. We're hitching a ride with a friend of mine so it'll kinda depend on how long the driver wants to stay.
There's gonna be a bunch of people meeting in front of the information booth at 11am, as well. I think that's where we'll be in the morning if anyone wants to find us.
