superann from bayanime.com and some folks are planning a karaoke meetup on sat, july 11 -- any other karaoke rock stars out there in baau, besides lifepoint1 and me?
if people are free, we can do a regular baau meetup in the afternoon and karaoke afterwards in the evening. let me know if you're interested.

You'll all want to know, that I think July 11 at SJ Japantown is the Annual Obon Odori Festival.
I'm in for the karaoke if there's some anime ones I have no clue on any english music tho...believe me....
will it be in San Francisco or in San Jose? |

I got a few questions :
1)is the karaoke machine a lavca machine? I love that karaoke machine...
2)Are Japanese songs available?
For those of you that don't know, I am really into karaoke. what I kinda find annoying is that you're supposed to sound terrible.
I can sing english, tagalog, and japanese. but I am terrible when I sing any of Ryoko Hirosue's songs.
It looks like I might not be able to make it though..I don't drive. maybe someone can give me a ride?
where is this karaoke place at? Is it Gamba? I like Gamba. or is it a bar? |

Please hogtie Sterling and force him to go... Lots of liquor will probably help as well.  Make sure to take some audio/video for a little blackma... ahem* reference.

awesome, looks like we've got some brave folks! we're planning on going to the fillmmore karaoke from 6pm-9pm. it will be a karaoke box (not bar), so we'll have a private room. they should have songs in every language, but i can't vouch for the size of the selection. regardless, i'm sure everyone will find something to croon to, so don't be shy!
ann's going to set up an rsvp link on her site, so i'll send it out to interested folks when it's ready.
and sterling, i've played enough ninja gaiden to know how to prevent you from making any sort of escape, haha. |
