and now for something local! KinyoobiCon, held by a Chabot College student group, attracts a couple hundred people on a lazy Saturday in August.
I've gotten a table for BAAU at the convention, and it comes with 2 free badges, one of which I'm using, and one of which is available to anyone here who wants one!

Registration is $12 and includes pizza and parking.
However, here's a better idea! There's a special rate for artist tables (not on the website) - $25, which comes with 2 badges. So, if you plan to go, pair up and get an artist table! |

hey! a friend brought this con to my attention soon after fanime, and i think ill be attending. it doesn't seem to be as big an event as the others, so it's good to know ill have more people to chat with over there!

I bet my bro can pick you up from your place as well. This place is sort of near oakland/berkely, if I recall correctly. In addition, tell me if your business cards came in the mail and how they turned out. I'm afraid that my monitor was callibrated too light/saturated when I was staring at the proof, because it looked a bit different on my laptop, so the border of the business cards may seem a bit dark

Oh hey, I registered as a vendor for this as well!
If you want to sell only your own artwork here the price for a table is only $25 (so much cheaper than the $90 I paid for fanime ;_;)
Anyway I'm excited because I really like small cons, although I haven't been to this one before. They seem to have some really creative activities, like a live drawing contest. |
