Maybe Bruce can give you a hand. He has Friday's off. I'll be working though, so I won't be able to make it, at least not until later.
Maybe >_> Honestly any BAAU person who can at least give me a bathroom break would be awesome @_@
This is why I want to be near friendlies, I want to know that my stuff is somewhat safe in case I need to abandon my post for any reason. Well that and maybe for idle conversation during the slow hours.
Honestly it's best if you can manage that. It's too bad vendors don't have that type of relationship >_> |

I don't know. I've only tabled once and the people to my right never said anything to me and were busy talking to each other the whole time and the girl running the table to the left of me was never at her table(I think she just flat out gave up on tabling for that event O_o). |

Yeah I get that but how does that stop someone else from grabbing the table next to you? Or if BAAU isn't there the first day, then can you move if BAAU ends up being positioned elsewhere? |

I'm not sure.. you see this is the first year they've had two days. I'm guessing they'll say its first come first serve on both days with no regards to where you were the day before. 9_9 You could ask when you get there the first day but... ok although I love this con the volunteers are pretty useless. If you are able to talk to the people running the con you'll get answers and help but the general volunteers will probably not know and then run off somewhere. One good/bad thing I've noticed in previous years is that plenty of people vendors and artists end up not showing at the last minute so.. that might help too? No clue =S |

| Damn it Bruce, you kept telling me it was Saturday and Sunday. Now I find out it's the 6th and 7th, a Friday and Saturday. God damn it Bruce, you go to Chabot, and you still don't know? You're useless to be Bruce. Feel free to hang your head in shame. |

pineapple pocky wrote: about one to two weeks, I think. Did you want a table too? It might be squishy with alfred and bruce in one table, and I doubt I'll have much room on my table now that I'm trying to sell off my tshirts and now a new comic. Or maybe we can both combine tables and somehow you can squish between all of us...
I don't think I can get my permit in time, although I did get confirmation on being able to be in artist's alley--I just gotta be there by 10 AM ish to hand them 25 dolla. I'm down for squishing in on one of the tables, or between the tables, and just doing comisshes and selling off my extra printz there. |

@tofu - you can get a permit in person at any of the Board of Equalization offices, there's one in downtown Oakland at 1515 Clay St. right behind City Hall.
- getting tables adjacent shouldn't be a issue. most everyone who goes to this convention is local anyway so those stuck between baaufolk shall become baaufolk.
- I actually won't need much table space at all myself since I'm leaving for LA right after the convention so squeezing in is definitely feasible as well. |

| I have had a table reserved for Kin-Yoobi con for a little while now and haven't heard anything about table assignment. So I am guessing it is really first come first serve in the artist area? Looking forward to the con and hopefully I will get a spot close to you guys! |
