ka-blam does pretty good work, and they put your order up on their own website pretty quickly, from what i've heard.

comiXpress, on the other hand, have a poorer customer service team (while ka-blam is only 4 people, and they reply to all my emails the day after i send it, while ComiX took a week to reply), and you have to light a fire under their ass. i've met people who've ordered thru comiX that had to threaten to cancel their order in order for them to get their stuff...

overall id say to go with ka-blam

thanks for your advice..

so.. i wanted to like "test" the customer service of Ka-Blam vs Comixpress

so i emailed both of them..w/ pretty much the same question...
See below:

Hello,

I am a new customer with some concerns about prepping a comic with a two page spread.

Of course I like the right and left to match up as seamlessly as possible. Do you have any guidelines/advice on how to lay that out for printing?

(sorry if this is already posted on the website, I could not find it)

Thanks.
Linda

and both of them got back to me, with good answers, with in 1 hour.. I am very impressed w/ both. Comixpress was faster by like 20 min. So it's a tie so far!

im tempted to do a small run w/ both of them to continue this test.
